Cortisol is one of the hormones which causes stress. Staying well hydrated help keeps Cortisol down which helps lower overall stress. When your body is dehydrated of the water it needs, you are literally putting your body under stress and the emotions that you feel is your body responding to that and telling you something!
Of course being hydrated won’t make your real world problems disappear but we all don’t need more stress in this stressful world don’t we?
